As the sun sets and the Spookyville draws near, join us for a cozy evening exploring Takoma’s autumn canopy.
We’ll gather at Sabina’s Café (6902 4th St, NW) on Friday, October 16 at 6:30 PM for a cup of hot cocoa before setting out with the District Department of Transportation’s Urban Forestry Division as our guide on a twilight stroll through the neighborhood. Along the way, we’ll discover remarkable trees, learn about our urban forest, and hear a few spooky tales as the sun sets and the 10th Annual Spookyville: Haunted Alley draws near.
How it works:

🌳 Stroll through the neighborhood with Urban Forestry and discover the stories hiding among the trees.
🌙 Haunt the neighborhood with a little more wonder and head home ready for the 10th Annual Spookyville: Haunted Alley on October 30!
Come in costume or as you are, but don’t forget your curiosity! Neighbors of all ages are welcome.
