ABOUT THE EVENT
Do you make a killer brownie? A ghostly cookie? A cupcake that could raise the dead?
Enter the No Tricks, Just Treats! Spookyville Baking Contest and share your Halloween-inspired creations with the neighborhood.
How it works:
📋 RSVP by October 23 using the event link to let us know you’re participating and get additional details.
🧁 Bake a Halloween-inspired treat (nut-free, please!), give it a spooky name, and label the ingredients clearly.
🌑 Bring your creation to Spookyville: Haunted Alley on October 30, where neighbors can sample your treats and our celebrity judges will crown this year’s winners.
And who will be deciding your delicious fate?
Back at the judges’ table is Cornelia Poku of Black Girls Explore DC, along with the Lewis George Family. Joining them this year is Carolina McCandless of Cielo Rojo & San Pancho, bringing some serious culinary credentials to the tasting table.
